Who we are
NC Highway Patrol is a fan-run roleplay community for the Roblox game Emergency Response: Liberty County. It is not a real law enforcement agency and is not affiliated with ROBLOX Corporation, the game developers, or the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
What we collect
- Your Discord user ID and display name, when you sign in with Discord. We request the "identify" permission only. We do not receive your email address or your messages.
- What you submit: reports, support tickets (including the ticket conversation, saved as a transcript) and recruitment applications, including Roblox usernames, the text you write, and any evidence links.
- Moderation records: the Roblox username, action, reason, date and staff member for warnings, kicks, bans and commendations. These are shown on the public records page.
- Anonymous, aggregate page-view statistics. These do not use cookies and do not identify you.
Cookies and local storage
We set one session cookie to keep you signed in, plus the short-lived cookies that Discord sign-in needs. Your dismissal of the cookie notice is kept in your browser's local storage. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
How we use it
To run the community: sign you in, review your reports and applications, answer tickets, and keep an auditable record of moderation. We do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers.
Who can see it
Submissions are visible to you and to authorized staff. Moderation records are public. Our hosting provider processes requests on our behalf to serve the site.
Keeping and deleting data
We keep submissions while they are useful for running the community. To ask for your submissions to be deleted, or for a record to be reviewed, open a ticket on the support page. Records of bans may be kept to protect the community.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date above. Questions can go through the support page.
